I was optimistic when the flyer came showed up in my mailbox that my son would be able to have exposure to Spanish at the age of 3. I wasn’t sure what he would learn, but he would certainly learn more about it having the class than he ever would in a preschool classroom, they have too many other important issues to focus on. I signed him up and I’m amazed. In less than an hour a week he learned songs, that he still remembers two years later, and knows more Spanish than I do and I took it in high school and college. We get amazing worksheets so we can reinforce learning at home. This is truly the best investment in time and money we have made for our son, I can tell it has helped him tremendously and he’s retaining more than I ever dreamed. Chamitos is a wonderful program and reaches children at the right age for learning a new language!

Encantamos Chamitos! My children have learned so much in such a short period of time. They are well versed in reading, writing, speaking and culture all at the same time! Not only are they learning but they have the confidence to try to speak in public to practice and are now asking to see favorite movies in Spanish. We have been with chamitos for two years. Although my husband is a native Spanish speaker, our girls had little interest learning Spanish at home. Chamitos provides them the vocabulary, activities, and excitement to make learning a second language fun.

The children and staff enjoy having the Chamitos Program at our center. The children look forward to going to the program each week and they come back to the classroom with songs and language skills that they share with the children and staff. We introduce the children to the spanish language with greetings, counting and basic words, but the Chamitos Program expands the learning experience for the children with songs, puppets, cultural history, conversation exercises and language development skills.
